Hellz Bellz

Inspired by Mae West, the Born Bad Holiday Collection from Hellz Bellz is out now.

Step into the new space of your everyday world

Street artist Aakash Nihalani selectively places isometric shapes around NYC to highlight the unexpected geometry and contours of the city itself. His work creates a playful and unexpected disconnect from reality and sometimes, that’s all we need.

Behind every clever girl…

Awesome.

Creative droppings

The mothership of creative agencies, Big Spaceship had a recent blog post that I really loved and wanted to throw on here. And while it’s not a book, the post had me thinking, “damn, that’s interesting”.
“It’s all about understanding the behavior of things, to see if relationships from different subjects are puzzle pieces that can fit together to form new shapes with weight and depth. It’s not insta-smartification; just another way of thinking and articulating a point, ideally an original one. Don’t count yourself with the sheep. It will only make your audience fall asleep.”

A nice idea every day

Visual stylists Fabian Rottger and Vivien Weyrauch create this radical site, “A nice idea every day“. It’s made up of gorgeous photographs and creative video projects that’ll consume hours of your time but results in major feelings of inspiration.

For you, by us

We asked one of our favorite artists of ’08 to design a holiday postcard concept we had in mind. Ben Hansen is his name and the results are below. A limited edition run of these postcards can be found in super secret spots around San Francisco and San Diego. Feel free to spread the love and don’t forget your Holiday Matinee on x-mas. There’s no better day to see a movie!
