Breaking Upwards = Best Movie @ SXSW

I screened this movie last week @ SXSW and holy shit, IT WAS AWESOME! Breaking Upwards is a brutally honest love story with NYC as its backdrop and even a Facebook joke or two thrown in. There are hints of Woody Allen and Richard Linklater along with a killer soundtrack. If this doesn’t get distribution, I’m giving up on the movie industry.  And if you’re the filmmaker, get in touch as I’d love to do a San Diego screening.

Clinton Park’s green roof architectural beauty!

Yes green is the new black but seeing the Clinton Park mixed-use development designed by Ten Arquitectos, I’m more than ok with the trend. This midtown Manhattan project incorporates green roof terraces in all floors and spans an entire city block with commercial and residential programs. More please! [via designboom]
