Change.org launches a major new initiative called Jobs for Change, which aims to spark a nationwide movement toward careers in the common good. Yes, this is awesome. Who’s ready to mobilize?!

Today, I’m working in San Francisco at Jelly, the monthly casual co-working session going on in cities across the country. I just heard a really great talk on search by a panel from Google, Yahoo, and Twitter. I highly recommended checking out a Jelly in your city as it’s a much needed break from the office plus a great way to meet other creatives.
Crossing the desert on the back of a dog, or searching for lost treasures on the bottom of the ocean, Jan von Holleben’s photographs allow nostalgic dreams come true. I’m totally floored by the simplicity and sheer innocence of this series. Dive into more adventures here.
I was losing myself in Soceity6 and came across this great poster titled “Mostly True”. It’s by designer Tim Lahan and you should definitely check out his site, if even for this hilarious “There’s no business like no business” tee. As Tim says, “The truth hurts but we’re laughing anyway.” Great stuff!
You gotta give a nod to this large ampersand cutting board by House Industries. It’s kinda pricey ($110) but will definitely set you apart from the Target or IKEA bandwagon.
Fergus & Geronimo are the new face of rock-n-roll. I’m falling in love with their lo-fi college rock anthems. This band could single-handedly carry a new generation of black t-shirts, ripped jeans and rolling rocks from house party to house party. “Tell It (In My Ear)” might just be the best song I’ve heard all year. Late night dance moves, long make-out sessions and lots of Motown-influenced jams. Who’s ready for a road trip? Music hasn’t felt this good in a long time.
Street artist Aakash Nihalani took his installations to a NYC homeless shelter and the results are gorgeous. The models are all men and women living with HIV/AIDS. More inspiring photos found here.
