I stumbled on this pair of Danish mid century modern teak corner tables. When I think of vintage modern furniture this is exactly what I think of. I also keep thinking I can afford them.

As far as journals go I really only look for three things: well bound, aesthetically pleasing, and solid construction and based on that, the quad-ruled Idea Journal from Doane Paper is a winner. Not only that, it’s got a great rugged chipboard cover that looks great on any desk or work table. Doane Paper was nice enough to send us one of their Idea Notebooks and a sharpie pen pack and they’ve both held up really well. Great stuff Doane, keep it coming.
