Time lapse turn large-format mural

How incredible is this?! The Royal Photographic Society Collection murals includes iconic images reproduced as large-format wall murals and prints. Here’s my favorite, time-lapse photographs of a horse running by Eadweard James Muybridge. Yup, incredible. [via MoCo Loco]

Vintage modern furniture is where it’s at!

I stumbled on this pair of Danish mid century modern teak corner tables. When I think of vintage modern furniture this is exactly what I think of. I also keep thinking I can afford them.

Landscape driven bliss

Wow. Watching this short by Phil Borst just balanced out my day. In fact, I think I’m going to watch it once a day and let my mind wander.

No, really…a peacock chair!

Created out of three sheets of felt and a minimal metal frame. Totally bizarre but stunning. More pics on Design Boom.

Nixon goes digital with The Newton

My iPhone has completely replaced watch-wearing but Nixon’s latest is causing jealousy of the wrist. The Newton Digital is so smooth and with a price point of $100, I know how this story ends.

Paper for your dreams

As far as journals go I really only look for three things: well bound, aesthetically pleasing, and solid construction and based on that, the quad-ruledĀ Idea Journal fromĀ Doane Paper is a winner. Not only that, it’s got a great rugged chipboard cover that looks great on any desk or work table. Doane Paper was nice enough to send us one of their Idea Notebooks and a sharpie pen pack and they’ve both held up really well. Great stuff Doane, keep it coming.
