Microsoft party FAIL

Ok, so I’ve watched this Windows 7 promotion a couple times now just in case there really was some clever, inside joke to it all but I think the only joke is that Microsoft has a marketing department that would allow something this awful to go public. It’s terribly cheesy and just so cliché that they tried to hit all kinds of demographics with the actors. If you are going for the parody angle, you have got to go all out.

Ever wonder what the inside of Facebook looks like? Everyone’s favorite social network recently got new digs and man is it pimp. How the hell does anything ever get done up there? It feels like one big creative playhouse straight outta the pages of Dwell. Plenty of photos to peep on Trend Insights.

Get ready to trip out

I’m pumped that the sketch comedy guys at Good Neighbor are back with new material. I don’t know how to describe this other than hilariously entertaining, but it’s something you have to share with your friends. Their facial expressions and voices get me every time.

Greeting cards for prisoners

Los Angeles-based Three Squares Greetings sells a wide variety of greeting cards designed for inmates and those locked up. Themes include getting out, tough love, and acceptance. “For Those Who Can’t Come Home” just might be the best slogan for a line of greeting cards designed to keep you in touch with family members or friends who are in custody. I love a good mix of genius and funny. [via springwise]
