I’m a fan of the Courts, and a shoe made in my honor would be called Stealths, sneakers guaranteed not to squeak when you walk on smooth surfaces.

I’m down with the classic joints. As for a shoe named in my honor, I’m thinking: Story (i.e. “Are those Stories you’ve got on??” “Why, yes…yes they are.”) Two reasons: 1) everyone has a story…and 2) every pair of shoes tells its own story. It’s specific to me because, ideally, someone will find my story worth knowing/telling. Also, if they were Warriors, it just sounds cool: Warrior Story / Warrior Stories. I mean…come on.

Now. As for MY SHOE (no doubt happening imminently) I would name it Negro Guerrero. It’s because it translates to black warrior, because in my better moments I am one, I come from them, and I grew up way too close to the border liking lucha libre.

I like the name “Foundation”. It’s strong and makes a good correlation to the feet, since they’re the base of the body. Everyone needs a strong foundation.
