Five Minutes with Kumar (Episode 1)

You might recognize Kumar from Wes Anderson movies such as Bottle Rocket, Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums or Darjeeling Limited. Aside from sharing a dressing room with Sammy Davis Jr and walking with Gandhi, he’s also shared the screen with Tom Hanks and Catherine Zeta Jones in Steven Spielberg’s “The Terminal.” But few people know the Kumar that I’ve come to know and love. His back-story is equal parts compelling and inspiring. And after years of having this project held up, it’s with great pleasure I introduce you to a man that’s warmed the hearts of many. Each Tuesday for the next four weeks, Holiday Matinee will premiere a new episode, so sit back and enjoy Mr. Littlejeans’s gospel. In the meantime, check out the trailer and production photos.
