If Star Trek were a rock band I’d probably like them. If Star Trek were a rock band those butt-tight flamboyant shirts would be worn by hipsters from Brooklyn to Silverlake. If Star Trek were a rock band they’d probably have more hits than sequels. If Star Trek were a rock band artist Jeff Wack would make a killing off this.

With 2011 coming shortly, it’s no surprise that 2011 calendars are popping all over the web, competing for our attention. One of the calendars we found is available from The Must Stash and it is as practical as it is neat-looking. Also, you know it’s special when it’s considered a limited edition. I don’t think it’s as awesome as the Bubble Wrap Calendar I wrote about awhile back, but it still makes calendar-choosing decisions really difficult (unless you’re lucky enough to need two calendars for two places).

Hungry for full on good? Ready for world-shaking change? Look no further than The Feast. That’s right, this event isn’t called TED and no, Al Gore will not be there. However, for a fraction of the price, you will overdose on inspiration and rub elbows with the most motivated, passionate and determined changemakers of our generation. How do I know this? This is the one conference I don’t miss. Heading into its third year, The Feast aims not only to inspire but engage and empower the world’s greatest innovators from across industries. Fired up? You bet. See you there? I sure as hell hope so. Here’s two of my favorites from last year.

Holstee is a design shop with a conscience that makes recycled wallets and so much more. This is their manifesto and if everyone in the world were lucky enough to read this, I think we’d solve a lot of problems. You can help though – share it with someone to show how much you believe in them.

Mini-parks are being set up in parking spaces around the world to demonstrate how urban green space increases the quality of life for everyone. It’s back! Debauchery, hilarity and some very poor life decisions. Season 6 of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia starts tonight on FX and I can’t wait to see what the gang’s been up to.
