Here at Holiday Matinee, we love a good food blog (check out our Do Tell with the founder of Eating/SF, now called Turntable Kitchen), so I think it’s time that I introduced you to my favorite site out there. Smitten Kitchen is one of those blogs that I go to when I need a step-by-step guide to poaching an egg – Deb’s beautiful photography (coupled with witty descriptions) keeps you reading and wanting more. Her recipe index also has categories like “budget” and “freezer friendly” for those of us that love to cook, but might not have all the skills resources we need. Now there’s no excuse for not hosting a New Year’s Eve dinner party (or only bringing wine to your next potluck).
