Fact: Chris Piascik totally rules. His dope daily drawings make me laugh while simultaneously reminding me to get shit done. Or maybe it’s his Mad Men recaps with Aaron Cohen that keep me coming back for more. Can’t forget about those rad zines either. Chris is a freelance graphic designer, illustrator, and self-proclaimed hustler, and I think he’s the Midas of lettering; anything he touches with a Paper Mate Flair, his weapon of choice, turns into gold. This one’s a quote from Tibor Kalman, which was inspired by an awesome Frank Chimero preso at Build last year. During the discussion, Frank reiterates the importance of making things for a very specific group of people, and veering away from homogenized rubbish. Right on!
