This here is a perfect example of advertising brilliance. Willie Nelson covering Coldplay’s “The Scientist” over an extraordinary animated storyline that leaves me appreciating Chipotle’s surge toward ethical farming. It’s hard to think this company was ever affiliated with McDonald’s but those days are long gone and the brand is moving into much greener pasture. Chalk one up for team creative.

Random word magnets to make ridiculous sentences with your friends are essential. Office Space and Napoleon Dynamite magnets are played out. But I’m really loving what UK-based StickyGram is doing. StickyGram turns your Instagram photos into 5cm x 5cm magnets for your fridge. A pack of nine will run you $14.99 including shipping (kinda, sorta pricey), but I’m really enjoying having something unique around the homestead. They also make rad gifts and you should never wait for holidays or birthdays to show someone you think they’re the bee’s knees.
August has been mighty fine as far as mixtapes go. We had our Outside Lands mix a couple weeks back and now’s it time for the regular monthly release. We’ve got comedy by Ricky Gervais and music by M83, Neon Indian, Sondre Lerche and more. Share and like it if ya dig. Better yet, support these artists!
Dear Diet Coke, you cut to my core. Yes, you are light and refreshing, but you’re also a risk taker. I admire your bravery to experiment with new recipes or slogans, and your preference for chemicals over calories doesn’t bother me either. But most importantly, your aluminum is always looking fresh! I heard your new can was designed by Turner Duckworth, and it is downright sexy. Can’t wait to see you in the stores this fall! xo [via Adweek]
Having had the pleasure of visiting Mast Brothers in Williamsburg, I can say first hand how amazing their entire brand is. And yes, I say brand because each piece of chocolate is complimented by such slick package design and presentation, it’s impossible not to notice the dedication these guys have for their craft. Each bar offers its own story of flavors, and no two are exactly alike. As if you needed another reason to fall in love with chocolate.
