Get drenched in the Rain Room.
Is it rain if you don’t get wet? Take a few minutes to watch this video by architecture and design critic Oliver Wainwright showing off the Rain Room, a new art installation by rAndom International to find out. Now running at the Curve at the Barbican, this experimental work uses 2,500 litres of water, falling at 1,000 litres per minute, and 3D -depth cameras to help you “experience” torrential rains – without getting wet. Very cool. If you’re in London anytime soon, I highly recommend you check it out.
