The art of the sandwich board

You might use Groupon, LivingSocial or Yelp but the deals craze has been over for a while now. Besides, there’s nothing like a clever sandwich board to draw in passersby and somehow discovery feels more natural that way. We’ve snapped photos of sandwich boards in each of our cities and wanted to share some of our faves. Taken a few yourself? Send ’em in on over here and we’ll add them to our gallery. It’s time we pay tribute to the art of the sandwich board.

Little People Street Art

Love this street art series called Little People. It’s from London-based artist Slinkachu, who has been abandoning little people in the street and on his blog since 2006. Will Self probably put it best when he called the project “little dramas of hope and tragedy [that] somehow get to the heart of what it means to be human”. Just goes to show you that bigger isn’t always better…

How far will you go for your friends?

When it comes to advertising, here’s proof that content is more important now than ever before. Brands that invest in smart, entertaining content will win every time. Case in point, this excellent spot for Carlsberg beer.
