One of my favorite, favorite things about Southern California has to be beach bikes. In fact, I think my perfect day would include at least an hour or two of riding. There’s just something about leisurely pedaling in the sun with your friends, making stops for food, drinks and ice cream, and making that late afternoon pit stop for a cat nap. You can usually rent a rusty character, but I’ve gotten so many people asking about my cruiser from BeachBikes.net. It’s called the Scholar and I love it because it doesn’t look like a bro’s ride at all. It’s high season right now, but you can usually score something for under $200. Ladies, they have a full line for you too.

Big love to everyone who made it out Wednesday for our 10th anniversary party and Cause for Drinks to benefit Friends of TOMS. Over 300 amazing people packed the W Hotel’s Beach Bar and raised $1,000 dollars to help less fortunate children – just by having fun and socializing. How easy is that? Funny T-Shirts walk a fine line between tasteful and obnoxious, and luckily No Star Clothing is on the tasteful side. What makes their shirts so good is that they don’t throw the joke at you, they kind of just put it out there and allow you to deduce what you want. Plus, they’re actually funny and they’re sponsoring Cause for Drinks. So pretty much good stuff all around.

We’re in the home stretch now.
