Andrew Bush has compiled a drive-by photo essay documenting all types of people and their cars in action. Most photos were taken on California freeways and the subject matter ranges from pipe-smoking college professors to couples kissing in their car. His book is available for sale and makes for a great coffee table addition. [via Very Short List]

Design Concepts

Here’s an interesting concept that might one day find a home in the marketplace. It’s a mobile touch-screen that recognizes words or objects and provides mini wikipedia-like information. It’s a clean design and something I would totally use but would rather see this built into my iPhone as an app rather than carrying around another device. Props for a great idea though!
