Better Looking Records is a record label established in 2000 by Paul Fischer and David Brown. In 2007, Colin Reef joined the pair and have together released some of the most exciting and creative music from around the world. In addition to the label, Fischer and Brown established Callinblue Music Publishing, which licenses music to television, films, video games and commercials. Examples of their work include spots for Hummer, Cadillac, Starbucks, Jeep, The OC, CSI, Grey’s Anatomy, Nip/Tuck, Sony Playstation, Mountain Dew, MTV, Fuse and Fuel TV.

Boxers and Ballerinas

To compare and contrast the lifestyles of the U.S. and Cuba, this film follows four Cubans: a boxer and ballerina living in Havana and a similar pair living in Miami. By doing so, Boxers + Ballerinas illustrates the struggles each athlete faces in their respective careers, which is at times heightened because of where they live. From first-person accounts by those who defected from Cuba to those who continue to live on the island, B+B shows that staying or going isn’t an easy decision.
