I just finished the transportation issue of GOOD Magazine, one of our favorite periodicals in design and content, and wow did they make a convincing argument for how better design and planning in our country’s infrastructure can improve all our lives. Their point: cities were built for people, not automobiles and somewhere along the line we’ve forgotten that. One of the best things about GOOD is that it doesn’t just bitch and complain about how the world is. It offers solutions and encourages community involvement by directing readers to sites like Livable Streets. That’s how change happens!
