Blazing summer heat greeted music lovers at Day 2 of Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago where a spot in the shade was a prized possession. I really don’t think you could have worn too little, but I’m not complaining since that’s part of what summer music festivals are all about. My favorite acts of the day were Netherfriends, Real Estate, Delorean, and Bear In Heaven – check them out if you haven’t seen them yet. Now it’s on to Day 3, where I may literally park myself at the Balance (B) stage. I’ll be sweating it out with Best Coast, Washed Out, Neon Indian and Sleigh Bells.
