Bookmarking awesome interweb finds is an important part of my creative process, but until recently, organizing these gems has proved somewhat challenging. A long list of tagged links isn’t very useful for visual learners like me, so I was really stoked to discover Pinterest a few months ago. The idea is simple: curate collections of images you love onto virtual pinboards. With the handy browser bookmarklet, pinning sweet stuff for later while you surf the net is easy and fun. Sure, other sites like FFFFOUND! and Svpply serve a similar purpose, but I think Pinterest outdoes the competition in terms of community. You can follow other inspiring boards, repin things you dig, and push pins out to Facebook, Twitter, and email contacts. Some neat pinboards I follow feature beards, ampersands, office décor and patterns. The site is still in beta, but holler if you’d like a pinvite.

that is a brilliant title. i love it. and i thoroughly enjoy pinterest, too.
Thanks Robyn! I like your “in a word” board. Good stuff!
Pinterest is a great technique to find new design and motivation. I also like the FFOUND! and office décor.
I agree! An inspiration gold mine, for sure.
