Last week, I saw a quick demo of ThinBike, a smart invention by LifeEdited founder (and former TreeHugger) Graham Hill. The full frame bike features fold-up pedals and a quick-release stem that allows space restricted urbanites to go from 21″ to 6″. What’s more is the bike comes with a Gates Carbon Belt Drive which is another way of saying your pant leg won’t ever get grease from a chain again. Sounds great, right? No shit, I’m totally sold, especially since I live in a tiny NYC apartment. The only catch is the price tag. At $1800, most who could afford this beauty probably don’t need to worry about space. The good news is they’re selling the stem and pedals on their own for $200. Catch more details here.
