I’m not a big calendar or planning nerd. I don’t add anything to Google Calendar and rely on the computer upstairs to keep me organized for a lot of things. The way I see it, I’ll remember the things that are really important to me and the rigidity of excessive planning cuts down on life’s random adventures. I freaking love spontaneity. That being said, I can get behind NeuYear calendars.
The color scheme reminds me of Action Method paper products (that’s a good thing) and lays out 2013 in an elegant, minimalistic design. It’s available in uncoated or dry erase surfaces and is double-sided so you can hang it horizontally or vertically. A calendar this big works for me because I’m forced into a daily stare down match with it and encourages me to write down some of the fun things I’ve been telling myself I need to do. What will I be writing down on my calendar for 2013? Writing deadlines, new skills I want to learn, the bands I don’t want to miss, more frequent vacation time and all the mischievous adventures I’ve still got left in me. If this calendar helps me experience even a tad more than I would have othwerwise, it’ll be completely worth it.
p.s. NeuYear is offering 30% off to HM readers because you rule. Just use code HolidayMatinee before the end of the year.
