I’m super excited to share a product called MANDA Sun Paste from San Diego surfer Cyrus Sutton and his crew. After years of perfecting their recipe, they have developed a sunscreen that blends thanaka, long used by indigenous cultures, and zinc oxide, which is proven to block UVA and UVB rays. It also uses a bunch of other organic ingredients that are good for the skin and have a low environmental impact. This isn’t designed as a fashion sunscreen and has gone through extensive testing everywhere from Baja to the sub-arctic shores of Kamchatka, Russia, and oceans of Australia. Check out what they’re doing and support their Kickstarter if you feel like picking up a batch at discount.
