I’ve long been a fan of NeuYear planners and wall calendars because let’s face it, writing down shit makes it far more likely to happen. So when I saw that founder Jesse Phillips started sharing tips on YouTube, I smiled. His first one is on time blocking and why it’s a proven practice.
But what I really give him props for is his reminder that getting a bunch of stuff done doesn’t mean you’re going to be happy. It reminds me of the Abe Lincoln quote, “Folks are usually about as happy as they make their minds up to be.”
