Casa Sanchez is an SF institution

Whatcha know ’bout Casa Sanchez? If you’re unfamiliar, it’s a legendary San Francisco Mexican restaurant known for its Jimmy the Cornman logo and the genius marketing of free food (for life) to anyone that got Jimmy tattooed on their body. The 24th St. restaurant has since closed and they offer their chips and salsa in markets, but what I just learned is that they rock an online shop. To me, San Francisco isn’t about tech and paying ridiculous prices for every goddamn thing. But it may be about repping Jimmy the Cornman as best you can — even when it’s raining.
